Booking Procedures:

  • Bookings can be made via our reservations office on 0824460711 or via Facebook (Click on the blue ‘Book Now’ button or via our website www.marlelodge.co.za.
  • We require a deposit of 50% in order to confirm your booking.
  • No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit mentioned above have been provided and a booking reference number has been issued by the lodge.

Cancellations:

  • 7 or less (or ‘no show’) days before arrival – Forfeit 100% of booking total
  • 8 – 14 days before arrival – Forfeit 100% of deposit
  • 15 – 30 days before arrival – Forfeit 50% of deposit
  • 31 or more days before arrival – Full refunds

Dining:

  • Breakfast is included in your room rate and served to you in our dining area.
  • Additional Breakfasts are available at an additional cost for visiting guests. These are to be pre-ordered with your host/hostess on check in.
  • Lunch & Dinner also available 7 days a week which is to be pre-ordered with your host/hostess on check in.

Kids Policy:

  • Children 5-12 years pay 50% of the per person sharing rate and children 4 years and under stay at no charge, sharing a room with an adult/s.
  • Check-in time is anytime from 14:00-21:00 and check-out time before 10:00. Please make special arrangements for early or late check-ins.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability:

  • We respectfully remind you that any items brought into the Lodge, its car parks or grounds including valuables and audio visual equipment, are brought in at your own risk. The Lodge shall not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the client or anyone connected to the client’s event at the Lodge, whether the items were left before, during or following your stay.
  • The Lodge will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity (whether caused by the negligence of the Lodge, its employees, contractor or agents or otherwise).
  • The Lodge accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

Damage or Loss of Lodge Property:

  • The guest is responsible for any damage caused by any member of his/her party, whether in the hired room(s) or in any part of the Lodge and shall pay for such damage or loss of business caused as a result.
  • All items and furniture in your room is the property of the Lodge. We therefore reserve the right to charge you for the full replacement cost for any item or piece of furniture removed from your room. If you, or any member of your party, damage any bedding or linen, we reserve the right to charge you for specialist cleaning.
  • Lost keys will result in a charge for replacement keys being levied.

Popi Act:

  • The guest and/or any of his/her party, accept that the Lodge is mandated to request and hold personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
